"Whoever said football and girls don't mix hasn't read Catching Jordan. I couldn't put it down!"
— Simone Elkeles, New York Times bestselling author of the Perfect Chemistry series

ONE OF THE BOYS

What girl doesn't want to be surrounded by gorgeous jocks day in and day out? Jordan Woods isn't just surrounded by hot guys, though- she leads them as the captain and quarterback of her high school football team. They all see her as one of the guys and that's just fine. As long as she gets her athletic scholarship to a powerhouse university.

But everything she's ever worked for is threatened when Ty Greeen moves to her school. Not only is he an amazing QB, but he's also amazingly hot. And for the first time, Jordan's feeling vulnerable. Can she keep her head in the game while her heart's on the line?

"A beautiful novel with a real and captivating depiction of high school relationships, Catching Jordan shows the same reverence for the human heart that it does for the game of football."
—Karsten Knight, author of Wildefire

I absolutely lived this book!! Though I don't play football is one of my favorite sports and it was awesome reading about a girl player. Even better was that it wasn't just about her playing it was also about her life because she isn't just the girl who plays football. Amazing book highly recommend!!!!!!!

I usually hate reading every book, I went from book to book abandoning it every time I got a couple chapters in, until this book. I went from read the bare minimum of 15 pages a night,( the requirement for a seventh grade student) to reading 50 pages a night with all Miranda Kennelly's books. The reason I picked this book was only because I have the same name as the author and then I just got hooked on reading every book that she wrote and can't wait for her next book coming out in June. If you are a teen or know a teen that likes a great romantic drama then please recommend them this book, because can't get over how great it is and I want to make sure everyone gets the chance to read this cliff hanger book with so many twists and turns that you would never I mean never would guess.

I never heard of this book nor author until I came across this book from working at the library. I love it so much and glad there are series towards this but with different characters. The drama and romance of these teenagers face that can happen in real life is mind blowing.

The book was good but I hate how she makes Ty out to be such a controlling jerk when he is just protecting her. Her and Henry are cute but I just wish there had been one guy...

So I started reading this book thinking 'Aww this is going to be a really cute love story between two QB's, and Jordan is gonna express her feeling towards this new kid Tyler and there gonna be so cute together'. WRONG! (Warning spoilers) So after she gets the hottest guy ever she learns that her best friend for 10 years, Henry(she always calls him by his last name, Henry) is in-love with her. So what does she do? She decides to be an idiot and try to kiss him! (Even though she's daring Tyler!) Henry doesn't kiss her back and then he ignores her for like a month. At the end she brakes up with Tyler( I think cause the football players called him bossy and that he so protective.) He's protective cause his parents were in a car accident and his dad was killed! Anyway at the end she ends up with Henry and makes-out with him for like an hour. I don't recommend this book unless you're looking for a love triangle and a lot of drama. I think I'll try another book like the horse one but I don't know.

This book is amazing. I'm a tomboy myself, but I don't play football. I knew that it would be a struggle. This book is one to show girls to go for their dreams and that there will be obstacles such as sexist coaches and love.
  • Overpriced

I've read better books for half the price of this book. The quality of this story is too lacking to be that expensive. Frankly, I could get a refund but I won't. Unfortunately, I paid for it and, therefore, will live with my foolish decision. The storyline is mediocre and overpriced. -_-
